I've been thinking about my past a lot lately. Thinking about where I have been, what I have gone through, the trials and difficult times. The valleys, the peaks, the darkness, the light, the in-between. Thinking about where life has led me to where I am now. I would have never envisioned myself to be where I am today when I was younger or even just a couple of years ago. Oh the plans that God has for me are definitely NOT the plans I thought He would have had. His mind is unsearchable and when I think I fully grasp and understand who He is, I don't...and have so much more to learn about who He is in this fleeting thing called life.
I am enjoying this season of my life. My soul remains restless in finding where it wants to settle down. In career, life in general. That will all come in due time. I keep telling my little heart, God will direct you. Don't worry.
Came across this quote today and have been meditating on it:
"I would rather be what God chose to make me than the most glorious creature that I could think of; for to have been thought about, born in God’s thought, and then made by God, is the dearest, grandest, and most precious thing in all thinking."
